Due to my over-sized breasts, I have to wear bras all the time, unless I'm showering. When I exercise, when I sleep, on the road, it's always necessary for me to wear one. Because of the large size of my breasts, it's hard for me to find support in my chest area. I went shopping recently and was able to find a decent priced, but very supportive bra from Delta Burke.
I chose one that was blue, size 42 DD, over the shoulders and around the waist style, and it cost me almost $20. I thought the price was pretty fair, and I even sneaked into a corner of the store, where no one was looking, and briefly put it on over my clothes to test out the size, and it fit. Since it's hard for me to find a good fit for my chest, this was a must have, so I bought it. When I got home, I tried on the piece, and it fit even better, but I notice it made my breasts poke outwards, similar to when Madonna had on that pointed bra!
I was not flattered by this, in fact it made me look bigger up there, instead of flatter! The underwire was hurting me and felt very uncomfortable. I tried to deal with the underwire for a couple of days until it almost drove me crazy. The metal piece started coming out at the seams and poking me under my armpits, leaving me with pain throughout the day. I've had this happen many times before with other chest support equipmeant, LOL.
Because of the pain and discomfort, I cut a small slit at the top, where the end of the metal was poking me at on one side, and pulled the piece out. I also pulled the piece out on the other side as well, without needing to cut a slit. After taking out the support pieces, it made wearing the piece, so much more comfortable. I even went back and bought a couple more, but I cut out the metal pieces right away. Overall, I am enjoying my item, so I think I'll exercise now, because I have a chest support I need!
