When buying a lingerie set we are often swayed to purchase the whole lingerie set bra and panties to match our full outfit. There is nothing wrong with that kind of purchase and I’m all for it especially when the pieces match the look and most importantly the comfort level. On many occasions we purchase a bra that looked great and felt nice, but the fabric on the panties did not match the feeling of a bra. As women are concentrating on the bra part of the purchase, they often forget to pay equal attention to the panties. It seems that a lot of us just take the panties as an accessory to the bra when it should be a part of careful selection.
The pros of owning a lingerie set is a pretty obvious one, it starts our dress up ritual in a great way. When we put on the matching pieces we feel nice and luxurious and that’s a half of the battle. It is certainly impressive to anyone that sees our lingerie set. Matching a bra and panties speak many words to our loved ones: that we have class, that we care about our look, that we love to dress up and that they are lucky to see you wearing a beautiful matching lingerie set. It screams sophistication. Buying a bra without matching panties is an action that we do for ourselves to feel good, but purchasing a bra and panty set and perhaps a garter belt is an action that we do for ourselves and those that get to see it and admire it on and off chance.
The cons are more of whether we do it for the right reason than whether we should do it at all. Main reason is that some materials can be uncomfortable. For example a poor quality sheer materials can be stiff and irritating when it comes to panties. Lets not forget that a sheer bra is not touching any of our body parts that are covered with hair where panties do. To avoid any itchy experience make sure that the panties are made of soft fabric. A lot of panty and bra sets don’t give you the choice of your favorite panty style. If you are in to wearing boyshorts and the set has only thongs, chances are that the thongs will not be used by you more than once.
Even though it may look great during the time of purchase, it may not be practical to buy something that you will not use when you decide to separate the set and wear it as one piece only. In summation the choice is totally up to you. Just make sure you are buying something that you will wear as a set and separately. Only then you will be happy with your purchase. Don’t forget that the quality of the fabric is the key to feeling comfortable.
A lingerie set should not suffer on account of what's available but should shine with glamour when its picked properly. Enjoy what you are wearing. Often lingerie set is purchased by men for their wives or girlfriends so communicate with your loved ones and educate them on what you like. When it comes to bras and panties they might want to buy it for you and if they know what to buy it may just be a great gift.
